Dr. Anne Messman is the medical education fellowship director as well as the Vice Chair for Education for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Wayne State University. A native Michigander, she left briefly to attend medical school at George Washington University in Washington, DC then returned to Detroit to complete her residency in emergency medicine at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. She recently completed a Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE) at the University of Michigan and is the current recipient of a $100,000 SAEM Foundation (SAEMF) grant in medical education.
