Dr. Jeffrey Kline received his MD from the Medical College of Virginia, and then did an emergency medicine residency followed by a research fellowship at the Carolinas Medical Center. He now serves as Associate Chair of Research and Brooks Bock Endowed Professor of Emergency Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He is the present Editor-In-Chief of Academic Emergency Medicine.
His diagnostic research interest’s focus on the diagnosis and treatment of venous thromboembolism in the emergency care setting and mentoring physician-scientists in emergency care. What he does best is grow heirloom tomatoes.
